Our house in Neochori, Mani, took over 6 months to purchase. We moved in before the sales paperwork was complete. Everyone seemed relaxed about this, so different from the UK. Our offer was accepted in the June and we finally completed the purchase in January – at last we could start to plan the home improvements and the pool. We had at last purchased our Greek home – our very own place in the sun.
