Taking part in the TV show, C4’s A Place in the Sun, was a positive experience. It made us take the plunge and find our place in the sun. Filming was fun, we explored the area and were guided through the process of buying a house abroad. Lots of drinking and enjoying the local restaurants helped us discover that we loved the area. The crew were amazing, the work that had gone into finding houses that we’d love was impressive. It felt like having our own estate agent.
